Festival Dates and Hours ✪

Moon River Music Festival 2020 has been canceled. The health and safety of our fans, artists, staff, and community is our number one priority.

Moon River will return to #Chattanooga’s Coolidge Park the second weekend of September 2021. Current ticket holders will have the opportunity to retain their ticket(s) for Moon River 2021 by logging into their Front Gate account and selecting the rollover option before Monday, July 20 at 8pm ET. All ticket holders who do not select the rollover option will be automatically refunded in as few as 30 days after July 20. Full details will be emailed to ticket holders on Tuesday, June 23.

All previously purchased tickets for the Live from Here performance on Friday, September 11 at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Auditorium will automatically be refunded at point of purchase.

Moon River does have some exciting plans in the works for the original festival weekend. Be sure to keep those dates held on your calendar as special access will be considered for rollover ticket holders. Stay tuned to the Moon River Music Festival channels as we’ll have more to share with everyone soon.

Yes, patrons with a WEEKEND PASS can leave and re-enter the venue at any time. However, if you plan on re-entering you will need to scan your wristband each time you exit and re-enter.

Official Wristband Policy

  • Wristbands will be mailed in advance of the festival.
  • All sales are FINAL – no refunds and no exchanges.
  • Only wristbands purchased through Front Gate Tickets are valid. If you purchased from an unauthorized source and/or the ticket is counterfeit, you will not be allowed entry.
  • Wristbands MUST be worn securely on wrist and cannot be slipped on and off.
  • Tickets must be scanned upon exit at the gate in order to re-enter that same day.
  • Do NOT remove between days, stretch or tamper with your wristband in any way or you will not be allowed entry.
  • Subsequent and/or multiple presentations of a counterfeited wristband are VOID and will be seized by Festival security staff.
  • If your wristband is removed by Festival security/event staff for any reason, it WILL NOT be replaced.
  • All ticket holders must pass through security and are subject to bag inspection. Prohibited items will be confiscated by event staff.
  • The festival takes place rain or shine.

Lost or Stolen Wristbands

If your wristband has been lost or stolen, please contact our ticket provider, Front Gate Tickets or call 888-512-SHOW (7469) in advance of the festival.

Wristband Registration

Fans will need to activate their wristbands before heading to the festival to ensure a smooth process entering the gates. Wristband activation verifies the wristband authenticity. You can associate an emergency contact to your credential, as well as help expedite any issues you might have once at the fest. Activation link and directions will be available closer to the festival. Fans can securely link their wristband to a credit or debit card to pay with a tap of the wrist at food vendors, bars, and Festival merchandise tents. Fans can sign up for Cashless closer to the festival.

Buying for Third Party Sellers

Only wristbands purchased through our official ticket website are guaranteed to be authentic, with properly coded and activated RFID technology. If you want 100% confidence in your ticket purchase, you should only purchase your tickets through the link on our tickets page, or through a friend’s link in our OFFICIAL ambassador program powered by Verve. In the event of a festival cancellation, your tickets may only be refunded when purchased through our official site. Tickets from other websites or resellers cannot be verified by the festival. WE DO NOT WANT YOU TO GET SCAMMED!

PLEASE BE AWARE: We are not responsible for any counterfeit tickets, wristbands or car passes. In addition, any wristbands reported lost or stolen will have their RFID chip deactivated and will not be valid. For your own protection, please do not purchase wristbands from any source other than Fake or deactivated wristbands may look like the real thing but they will be identified by our scanning system at the front gates. Those in possession of fake wristbands – or ones reported lost or stolen – will not be admitted to the festival and the wristband(s) will be confiscated.

Removing a wristband automatically voids it (unless by accident or for safety reasons, in which case you need to get a replacement wristband from a customer service booth at the festival – this will require you to prove your purchase information). Festival Security will check every wristband to assure it has not been removed or passed between multiple people.

Children at the Festival

Children 10 years-old and younger will be admitted free of charge with a ticket-holding adult. Limit 2 children per ticketed adult.

Just a friendly reminder that Moon River is a rain or shine event. So even if there are some showers, the show will go on!

That being said, your safety is our FIRST priority, so here are a few things to keep in mind to make sure you have a great weekend and stay dry!

  • Listen to all directions from official Moon River staff
  • If there are any weather updates, we will alert fans on the official mobile app, on social media, and on the stage screens
  • In case of lightning or high winds, we may temporarily ask that you seek shelter in nearby businesses or your vehicles till things are safer (if you don’t have a vehicle, make a friend!)
